92.31% pass JSC, 92.46% pass JDC exams

JSCA total of 92.31 percent examinees passed this year’s Junior School Certificate (JSC) and 92.46 percent passed the Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations.

The pass rate for JSC examinations saw a rise of 2.46 percent since the last year while the rate for JDC examinations dropped 1.04 percent.

A total of 187,502 JSC examinees secured GPA-5, up by 50,557 from last year.

Meanwhile, 8,761 students from JDC secured GPA-5.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid formally announced the result at a press briefing at the Education ministry this afternoon.

The examinees will get their results from their respective exam centres and education boards, on websites and through SMS.

Total 19.29 lakh students appeared for the JSC exams, while 3.43 lakh students appeared for the JDC exams this year.
