A long procession of teachers, students, members of governing body and local mob encompass the surrounding areas of the institution at 6:45 am singing “Amar Vhaer Rakte Rangono Ekushe February…………. “ in a great homage for the language martyrs and their sacrifices for the Mother Tongue.
After completing the Provhat Faree they offer flowers and wreaths at base of the Shahid Minar of Kisholoy Balika Biddaloy O College.
The Principal, Educationist Md. Rahmat Ullah also places the knob of blooms at feet of the Shahid Minar with other prominent presences on the behalf of Kisholoy Balika Biddaloy O College in the institution’s Shohid Minar where many other of institutions of Mohammadpur area place there flowers and wreaths for paying tribute to the memory of language martyrs of 1952.
The significance of the sacrifices of language martyrs in 1952 in our liberation war and independence was highlighted in the speeches of principal and all other participants. The function was finished with the prayer for peace and salvation of the departed souls of the language martyrs.
