Professor Dr Franz Ottner of the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences of Vienna, Austria paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman at his office on October 2.
DU Professors at the Department of Soil, Water and Environment Dr Md Aminur Rahman Majumder and Dr Md Zakir Hossain Khan were present on the occasion, said a DU release here.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs between the two universities.
They agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon, the release added.
