Bangladesh embassy welcomes scholarship holders in Japan

Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo, Japan today arranged a function welcoming 30 officials of Bangladesh Civil Service and Bangladesh Bank, who went to the country on Japanese government scholarship in higher education.

Bangladesh Ambassador Rabab Fatima at the event urged the officials to work as goodwill ambassadors of Bangladesh in Japan.

She also advised them to learn Japanese language, culture, life and work style to apply those in personal and professional lives.

“You all should apply the knowledge obtained in Japan to the welfare of Bangladesh and its people,” Fatima said at the function held at Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo.

A total of 10 officials from Ministry of Public Administration, five from Bangladesh Bank, six from Roads and Highways Department, two each from police, education and economic cadre services, one each from information, health and fisheries cadre services will take part in two-year masters course under Yamaguchi, Meiji, Tsukuba, Hitotsubashi, Ritsumeikan, Hiroshima,
Kyushu, Yokohama and IUJ universities.
