Two schoolgirls were killed in a road accident in Goalanda upazila of Rajbari district on Saturday morning. Deceased Zakia, 15, and Chandni, 15, were students of Class IX at Doulatdia Model High School in the upazila.
Rajbari Highway Police Station sub-inspector Masud Parvez confirmed the matter, reports a Bangla news portal.
Quoting headmaster of the school Md Shahidul Islam, the SI said a bus ran over the teenage girls in front of the school, leaving them dead on the spot.
