Certificate-giving ceremony held at British Council

Oxford International Education Group in collaboration with the British Council today organised a certificate-giving ceremony for the students of Oxford International School and DPS STS School, who participated in the two-week ‘Summer School and Leadership Programme’ in the UK recently.

A total of 29 students and four staffs from both schools participated in the event.

The students while visiting Britain under the programme attended various activities including cricket workshop led by the English Cricket Team at Circenster, Kia-Oval and Lord’s Cricket Ground.

They also visited the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, the University of Royal Holloway and other notable places in London as part of the programme, according to a press release issued here.

Andrew Newton, deputy director of the British Council was present at the certificate-giving ceremony held on British council campus.

Bangladesh British Council organises similar events every year to strengthen the relationship between the UK and Bangladesh, the release added.
