DSHE DG Mahbubur Rahman passes away

Director General of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) directorate  Prof Md Mahbubur Rahman died at a hospital in Singapore on Saturday. He was 57.

Mahbubur Rahman breathed his last around 12:20 pm (Bangladesh time) while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore. The DG, who had been suffering from respiratory complications, was admitted to the hospital on September 24.

Prof Md Mahbubur left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of well-wishers to mourn his death. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid expressed deep shock at the demise of Mahbubur Rahman and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family members.
