DU, British Council ink MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Music of Dhaka University (DU) and British Council, Dhaka today at the Vice Chancellor’s office of the university.

Chairperson of the Department of Music of DU Dr Mohoshina Akter Khanom and Director of Business Support Service of British Council Jim Pollard signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides.

DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman and Country Director of British Council Barbara Wickham were present on the occasion.

According to the MoU, British Council, the United Kingdom’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, will organize a two-hour long musical performance in Dhaka by two selected singers from the Music department of DU every month.
