DU Cha-unit (Drawing) admission test held

The entry test of Fine Art Faculty disciplines under ‘Cha-unit (Drawing Part)’ of Dhaka University (DU) for 2018-19 academic sessions was held at 10 am to 11 am in the campus today (22 september) amid festivity.

A total of 1,566 students who passed Cha unit’s general knowledge part exam on September 15, participated today’s test. Earlier, a total of 16,480 students applied against 135 seats of Cha unit, said a DU press release.

VC Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, DU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, Fine Art Faculty Dean Prof Nisar Hossain and senior teachers visited the examination halls to observe the overall situation. The admission test of “Ka (A)-unit” for science group students will be held on September 28 and “Gha (D)-unit” (combined unit) tests for science, business studies and humanities groups’ students on October 12.

The admission seekers have been asked to visit the university website (http://admission.eis.du.ac.bd) for seat plan and other detailed information. A total of 2,72,512 admission seekers have applied for undergraduate admission against 7,128 seats under five units in 2018-19 academic session at DU.
