Education minister Nahid nominated again for WEC award

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has once again been nominated for the World Education Congress (WEC) 2017 award in `recognition’ of his contribution to education sector in Bangladesh.

The award, consisting of a trophy and a citation, will be handed over to Nahid at the sixth congress of WEC scheduled to be held on November 23 and 24 in Mumbai of India, says a press release issued by the education ministry.

Nahid has also been invited to deliver a speech and share his experience at the conference.

Earlier, in 2012 he was nominated for the same award and received it with four other Bangladeshis.
