Associate professor Ashek Raihan Mahmud has been made chairman of the Information and Communication Engineering department of Islamic University in Kushtia.
He replaced associate professor Shariful Islam of the department, said SM Abdul Latif, acting registrar of the university, on Tuesday. IU vice-chancellor Professor Harun-ur-Rashid Askari appointed Ashek Raihan to the post for the next three years, he said.
