The Islamic University in Kushtia has decided to resume evening courses at the university, said officials at the university’s registrar office.
The university authorities had suspended the evening courses in the 242nd meeting of the university’s syndicate on October 2, 2018 in the face of students’ agitation.
The decision was taken at the 116th meeting of the university’s academic council in the presence of vice- chancellor M Harun Ur Rashid Askari.
‘Keeping some strict conditions, we have decided to resume the evening courses.’ vice-chancellor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari told.
‘A monitoring cell is also formed to monitor each department of the university,’ he added.
The university pro-vice-chancellor M Shahinoor Rahman, treasurer M Selim Toha, acting registrar SM Abdul Latif, among others were present at the meeting.
