IU to launch Bangabandhu Corner

The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia is going to launch ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ at central library of the university on March 17, said a press release today.

IU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari will inaugurate it while Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Treasurer Professor Dr M Selim Toha, acting librarian M Ataur Rahman and among others will be present.

Contacted, IU VC Rashid Askari said, “We want to launch it at our campus on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.”

As a result, it will be very easy for the researchers to study on Bangabandhu, he added.

More than 100 books written on Bangabandhu will be there at the beginning of the corner.
