Aspirants for the 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exams are not allowed to carry any type of hand watch, pocket watch and electronic watch during the tests, scheduled to be held this Friday.

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) issued a notice in its website this afternoon asking the examinees not to bring such watch, mobile phone, electronic devices, calculator, papers and bags in the exam halls.

“The exam halls will be provided with sufficient number of watches to inform the examinees the time,” the notice states.

According to the notice, violators of the regulations will have their instruments seized; their candidacy cancelled and declared ineligible for PSC’s other recruiting tests.
