Primary, Ebtedayee terminal exams to start 20 Nov

The Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal examinations-2016 will start across the country on 20 November this year.

The examinations are scheduled to end on 27 November while the results are likely to be published in between 27 and 29 December.

The decisions were taken at a meeting of the ‘National Steering Committee on Primary and Ebtedayee Terminal Examinations 2016’ held at the primary and mass education ministry on Sunday.

Primary and mass education minister Mostafizur Rahman presided over the meeting.

The minister said the examinations will be held every day from 11:00am to 1:30pm on the scheduled day.

Some 31,25,000 students from schools and 3,20,000 from madrasas will take part in the examinations, he said.

The examination on English will be held on the first day on 20 November.

Besides, the examination on Bangla will be held on 21 November, Bangladesh and Global Studies on 22 Nov, Elementary Science and Arabic on 23 Nov and Religion and Moral Education and Quran and Tajweed and Aqaid and Fiqha on 24 Nov and Mathematics on 27 Nov.
