RU sings MOU with Rabindra Bharati University

Rajshahi University (RU) here has signed a memorandum of understanding with Rabindra Bharati University on 23th November aims at boosting cooperation in the field of education and research between the two universities.

RU Vice-chancellor Professor Abdus Sobhan and Rabindra Bharati University Vice-chancellor Prof Sabyasachi Basu Ray Chaudhury signed the memorandum on behalf of their respective sides at simple ceremony at RU Senate Building.

Under this MOU, teachers, students and researchers can participate in different education and research related activities like teaching, course, seminar, symposium and workshop in each other universities.

Assistant Indian High Commissioner in Rajshahi Abhijit Chattopadhyay and others concerned from both the universities were present at the ceremony.

Prof Abdus Sobhan said that the existing bilateral relation between

Bangladesh and India will be further improved and intensified through such cooperation.

He said people to people connection of the two countries should be enhanced for better understanding, bilateral relations and regional communications for economic prosperity.

Abhijit Chattopadhyay said in no way the relation between Bangladesh and India can be broken as they have a friendly bridge.
