Seminar on research methods held at BRUR

A seminar on ‘Research Methods’ was held at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) here on Thursday (10th November).

Dr Wazed International Research and Training Institute (DWIRTI) of BRUR organised the seminar,a press release said here.

Vice-chancellor of BRUR and Director of DWIRTI Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO, presided over the event.

Senior Scientific Officer of DWRTI Dr Prasannojeet Sarker delivered welcome speech narrating the objectives of the seminar.

Senior Research Fellow of the University of Birmingham, the United Kingdom, Dr Donald Kurtis conducted the seminar as the main discussant.

Managing Director of Beach Grove Associates, the UK Dr Eta O’Donovan was present.

Moderated by Head of the Department of English of BRUR Asif Al Matin, research fellows of DWIRTI, teachers and officials concerned of the university participated in the seminar.

In his presentation, Dr Kurtis discussed about various aspects of research methods and methodologies and forwarded suggestions for successfully conducting research works.

Professor Kalimullah hoped that participation of renowned international researchers and experts in the seminar would add new dimension to the quality and standard of research works at DWIRTI of the university.
