Watch, electronic devices banned in BDS admission test

Health ministry banned watch and other electronic devices in examination halls of admission test of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2017-18) to be held on November 10.

The decision came up at a meeting at health ministry on BDS admission test with Secretary (health education) Fayez Ahmmed in the chair, said a press release.

The meeting urged the law enforcement agencies to keep close all the shops of photocopier machines in the nearby area of examination center.

This time, 22,539 admission seekers would sit for the test to vie for 532 public and 1,385 private seats.

Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan, Bangladesh Medical Association President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, columnist Syed Abul Moksud, representatives from police and RAB were present, among others.
