At least 10 leaders and activists of Dhaka College unit Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have been injured in a factional clash in the campus on Thursday.
Of them, two were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital for treatment after the clash happened this evening.
The two are identified as- Rahmatullah and Rubel.
Additional police members were deployed in the campus to control further clashes.
Police and eyewitnesses said, ‘The clash erupted in the campus while they were in a photo session after arranging Milad Mehfil there.’
Senior Assistant Police Commissioner of New market zone, Nazmun Nahar, told journalists that they have brought the situation under control.
