14 vie for each seat in DU Kha unit admission

As many as 14 admission seekers will vie for each seat at the admission test of ‘Kha-Unit’ of Dhaka University (DU) today.

A total of 32,749 aspirants have applied against 2,363 seats of Arts Faculty, said a press release issued here yesterday.

The ‘Kha-Unit’ tests for first year under 2017-18 academic sessions will be held between 10am and 11am at 70 centres, said the press release.

Meanwhile, admission test for “Cha-Unit” (drawing) is scheduled to be held between 10am and 11:30am on September 23.

The written test (general knowledge) of ‘Cha-Unit’ under Fine Arts Faculty was held on September 16.

A total of 11,074 candidates took part in the test vying for 135 seats. Of them, only1,552 students secured the pass marks.

The seat-plan of the admission tests is available at the university website – admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
