Nat’l science fest begins at JU

A two-day ‘National Science Festival-2018’ began at Jahangirnagar University (JU) on Friday (9 Feb).

Jahangirnagar University Science Club (JUSC) is organising the festival for the second time.

Chief Coordinator on Sustainable Development Goals Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office Abul Kalam Azad inaugurated the festival in Zahir Raihan auditorium.

Ten universities, 20 colleges and 30 schools are participating in the festival featuring quiz contests, robotic workshops and project presentations.

JUSC President Shariyar Kabir Shohag, its treasurer Prof Sheikh Md Monzurul Huq, and Advisor Prof Khabir Uddin attended the event as special guests.
