35pc of cost of broadband internet to be cut down from today

BTCLBangladesh Telecommunications Company Ltd (BTCL) has decided to cut down the prices of different packages by 35 percent from today, aimed at providing its customers with broadband internet facility at a cheap rate.

BTCL is changing the prices of different packages, through which the customers are now able to talk on their land line and at the same time can use the broadband internet, an official release said.

Under the new rate, customers will have to pay Taka 300 monthly for using Bcube Infinity 256 package with a bandwidth speed of 256 kbps. Bcube Infinity 512 will cost Taka 500, Bcube Infinity 1000 with a speed of 1 mbps will cost the client Taka 700, whereas they will get Bcube Infinity 1500 with a speed of 1.5 mbps at Taka 1000.

Moreover, there will be no data limit. Fifteen percent VAT will be applicable with all the packages.
