Bangabandhu Maritime Univ singed MOU with Indian Maritime Univ

bangabandhu maritime university signed MOUBangladesh’s sole specialized university,  Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University signed an MOU with its counterpart Indian Maritime University 15 April.

It is considered as another historic event in the journey of the university.

The signing took place during the prestigious Maritime India Summit 2016 held in Mumbai between the Vice-Chancellor of BSMR Maritime University Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten and the Vice-Chancellor of Indian Maritime University Shri K Ashok Vardhan Shetty.

Indian  Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways Shri Nitin Jayram Gadkari was present on the occasion.

In the signing ceremony, both the heads of the maritime universities pledged to co-operate each other, especially in the field of maritime education and research in order to achieve maritime excellence and safer sea for the future generations.
