Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit conducted a cleanliness campaign on the campus today with a slogan of ‘Amader Bishwyobidyaloy, Amrai Porishkar Rakhbo’.
JU Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Farzana Islam inaugurated the campaign at about 11 am on Central Shaheed Minar premises as the chief guest.
Lauding the campaign she urged BCL leaders and activists to take such activities for keeping the campus area neat and clean.
Pro VC (Academic) of the university Professor Abul Hossain, Pro VC (Administration) Professor Amir Hussain, Treasurer Professor Sheikh Monjurul Huq, Proctor Professor Tapan Kumar Saha and JU Teachers’ Association President Professor Farid Ahmad were present at the function.
BCL activists led by JU BCL President Jewel Rana and General Secretary Abu Sufian Chanchal, took part in the cleanliness campaign dividing into several groups.
