Begum Rokeya University bans all political activities on campus

Begum Rokeya University (BRU) authorities announced today a suspension of all political activities involving teachers, officials, and other employees on campus.

The decision was declared by BRU Vice Chancellor Prof Shawkat Ali around 2:30pm following a Syndicate meeting.

This decision comes following the imposition of a similar ban on student politics at BRU on August 12, to curb political activities at the university.
