Benajir Ahmed elected NSU board of trustees chairman

Freedom fighter Benajir Ahmed was unanimously elected as chairman of the board of trustees of North South University on Sunday. He is one of the founders and a life member of NSU, said a press release. 

Benajir, a businessman, is managing director and CEO of Raymond Group of Industries as well as secretary general of Association of Private Universities of Bangladesh.

He served as president of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2001. He received Commercially Important Person award several times and has served as district governor of Lions Clubs International.
