Child friendly library gets an admirable reception

Child lirary are always plays an admirable role in developing Reading Skills and Habit for children. It enlightens our new generation in creating  learners with awareness and humanity.

A seminar held on Tuesday (20 February) on developing a safer and better learning environment to build reading skills and instill reading habit amongst primary school children.

Dr. Md. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal the director general of DPE was present as the Chief Guest.

Chief Guest in his speech reaffirmed the government commitment to meet education sector goals and commended Room to Read’s effective contribution to boost the sector.

Renowned litterateur and Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy Selina Hossain, appreciating this program focuses on the international mother language day and stresses on to build sprit and consensus among the children from their childhood which bring ultimate benefits to our children.

The Additional Director General Md. Ramjan Ali, the Director (Policy and Operation) Bijoy Bhushan Paul, the Director (School Feeding)  Ram Chandra Das and the Director (Second Chance Education) Md. Delwar Hossain, as the Special Guests from DPE with Rakhi Sarkar, Country Director of Room to Read Bangladesh as the Chair. Renowned litterateur and Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy were also present there on the occasion.
