DU admission tests begin Friday with ‘Ga’ unit exams

The first-year honors admission tests of Dhaka University (DU) under academic session 2017-2018 will begin on Friday (September 15) with entry test of Business Studies faculty under “Ga-Unit”.

The one-hour test will be held from 10 am to 11 am at 53 centers on the university campus and outside the campus, said a DU press release here yesterday.

A total of 29,954 admission seekers have applied against 1,250 seats under “Ga-unit” of the university, the release added.

The release further said that the admission test (general knowledge) of Fine Arts Faculty under “Cha-Unit” will be held on September 16 (Saturday).

As many as 13,476 aspirants have applied against 135 seats under the fine arts faculty.

Admission tests under “Kha-Unit” will be held on September 22 while admission tests for drawing under “Cha-Unit” are scheduled to be held on September 23.

“Ka-Unit” admission tests will be held on October 13 and “Gha-Unit” (combined unit) tests for science, business studies and humanities group students will be held on October 20.

The applicants are prohibited to carry any kind of electronic devices, including mobile phone and communicable devices, during the admission tests, the release said.

The seat-plan of the admission tests could be known from the university website –admission.eis.du.ac.bd, the release added.
