Fake letter on PSC pad asks halt in recruitment

Desk Report |

A fake letter has reportedly surfaced at several ministries asking a halt on the recruitment into open public service positions at those ministries. The letter appears to have been written on the pad of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

It asked a halt on the recruitment at those ministries and directorates until December 3 citing the announcement of election schedule. PSC Chairman Dr Muhammed Sadique reportedly said the letter is a fake and that “no such decision was taken from the commission” in this regard.

The commission came to know about the letter this morning.
