HC issues rule on realizing fee from pupils with scholarship

The High Court today issued a rule upon the authorities concerned asking as to why it shall not declare realizing of tuition and admission fees by different school authorities from the students with scholarships.

A High Court division bench comprising Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice Kazi Md Ejarul Haque Akondo issued the rule acting on its own motion as lawyer Amir Hossain drew the attention of the court to a report published in this regard on a daily newspaper.

The court in its order asked education secretary and other to reply within two weeks.

According to the report published on August 3, many private schools are violating government rules, realizing different fees from students those got scholarships.
