A three-day inter-university theatre festival organised by Comilla University Theatre ended on CoU campus on Tuesday.
CoU vice-chancellor Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury inaugurated the event on March 3.
‘If students want to enrich themselves, they must participate in extracurricular activities,’ said Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury.
A total of four plays were staged during the festival by three university-based theatre troupes namely Jahangirnagar University-based Theatre Jahangirnagar, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology-based SUST Theatre and CoU Theatre.
CoU Theatre staged Dalal on the opening day and Theatre Jahangirnagar staged Chile Kotar Sepai on the second day of the festival.
On the concluding day, SUST Theatre staged Hason Raja and CoU Theatre staged Statue of Democracy.
