Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid today called upon college principals to play pioneering roles for the overall development of education.
“We have to be careful so that the students can get standard education from the colleges. We have to ensure the fact that the students should achieve overall development efficiency and apply this in real life,” he said.
The minister came up with the observations while addressing a workshop on College Education Development Project (CEDP) at capital’s International Mother Language Institute auditorium.
Presided over by National University vice-chancellor Prof Dr Hurn-or-Rashid, the workshop was also addressed by University Grants Commission chairman Prof Abdul Mannan, Md Sohrab Hossain and Dr Md Mahamud-ul-Haque, among others.
