No quota except for FFs to exist: Nasim

Awami League Presidium member also Health Minister Mohammad Nasim said the government is set to scrap all sorts of quota in the public service government jobs, excluding quotas preserved for the Freedom Fighters.

  

The minister, as the chief guest, was addressing a Mourning Day program, at BMA Bhaban in the capital city Saturday (August 18).

Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) organized the program. 

“The Prime Minister listened to the quota protesters. At one stage, she said quota system won’t continue. She wants to solve it systematically as it’s a constitutional matter,” said the minister. 

“Therefore, she formed a committee for quota cancellation. The committee has submitted a report to the prime minister” 

The committee has agreed to cancel quota system, excluding quotas for the Freedom Fighter: Nasim quoted the committee report.
