NSU student killed in Hatirjheel road crash

A student of North South University was killed after being run over by a bus at Hatirjheel in capital Dhaka last night.

The deceased was identified as Fahim Rafi, 20, a second-year student of Economics department of the university and son of Moniruzzaman of South Bashabo in Sabujbagh.

The accident took place when Fahim was getting down from a bus around 8:00 pm, witnesses said.Locals took the victim to Khidma Hospital and informed his family members.

Being informed, Fahim's father took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed to injuries around 10:00 pm. The body was kept at the hospital morgue, said Sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost.
