Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday unveiled the cover of a book titled '3053 Days' composed on the prison life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The Prime Minister opened the cover of the book at the outset of the cabinet meeting held under her chairmanship at the Prime Minister’s Office, said Secretary (Coordination and Reform) at the Cabinet Division NM Ziaul Alam while briefing reporters after the meeting.
The book has been published under the management of the Prison Directorate and with the support of Public Security Division of the Home Ministry.
The book contains numerous rare photographs and information on the prison life of Bangabandhu, which the Prison Directorate collected through research.
