A leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) of its Chittagong University unit killed as a speeding truck hit his motorbike in Sadar upazila of Feni district on Monday (3-10-16).
The deceased was identified as Emamul Haque Russel, a student of Forest and Environmental Department of Chittagong University and organising secretary of the university unit of BCL and a resident of Senbag upazila in Noakhali district.
Duty officer of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Nayek Jahangir Alam said the truck hit the motorbike carrying Russel while he was going to Feni from Noakhali, leaving him seriously injured around 7:30am.
He was first admitted to Feni Sadar Hospital and later shifted to CMCH where physicians declared him dead around 12:00pm.
