Teachers are the Driving Force to Build Modern Society

Nurul Islam Nahid 56Four months long 145th Basic Training Course with the participation of almost two hundred officers of the education cadre were ended.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid as the chief guest handed over the certificates to the participants on the closing ceremony at the National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM) on Wednesday.

The Education Minister said, “We want to build a world-class modern nation through giving modern knowledge to the new generation. In that case, teachers are the driving force. They can enlighten the society with the light of knowledge.”

Referring the teachers as driving force to build the society, the minister said, the government will do as need for the teachers. He urged the teachers to teach with the knowledge acquired.

Public Relation officer of the Education Ministry Muhammad Saifullah said there are 116 female out of total 195 cadres among the BCS Cadre officers. Seven out of the top ten cadres in the merit list were women.

Education Secretary Sohrab Hossain, Director General of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education Fahima Khatun, Director General of NAEM Hamidul Haque and officials were also present on the occasion.
