Workshop on Curriculum Development held at DU

A daylong workshop on “Curriculum Development” was held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban in Dhaka University (DU) campus on Monday (6th November).

Organised by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-DU) while DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated it as the chief guest, said a DU release here.

Director of IQAC-DU Prof Dr Sheikh Shamimul Alam presided over the function while Additional Director of IQAC Prof Dr Mahbub Ahsan Khan delivered welcome address. Additional Director of IQAC Prof Dr Md Rahmat Ullah gave vote of thanks.

The VC urged the teachers to equip themselves with moral and professional values, self censorship and dignity to uphold the quality of education as well as the image of the university.

He also stressed the need for development of curriculum to produce skilled and global standard graduates.

Deans, Chairmen, Directors and Senior Professors of different Faculties, Departments and Institutes of DU participated in the workshop, the release added.
